CSR usb-spi-s is a special burning and debugger for bluecore series Bluetooth products of CSR company in UK. This product can realize the functions of program burning, parameter setting, modification and program online debugging for Bluetooth target board.
Description of characteristics

Explanation on burning voltage of CSR Bluetooth SPI
Note: as for SPI voltage description, we all know that the IO port voltage of csr86xx series is 1.8V, so SPI burning voltage also needs 1.8V. Of course, using 3.3V can also work. However, if 3.3V SPI level is used, about 5% of the chips will be damaged. It does not matter to developers, but for mass production, the problem is very serious!
Here are the following solutions:
1.1K resistance is connected between the burner and the spi of the Bluetooth board to reduce the risk of the high current of the burner being connected to the Bluetooth chip. The disadvantage of this is that the instability of the burning is increased. How to solve this problem? In order to increase the stability, the capacitance of 2.2nf can be paralleled on the basis of 1K resistance, so the anti-interference ability of SPI communication will be enhanced!
2.Using a 1.8V SPI burner is actually a solution from the original manufacturer. The SPI voltage of the latest original burner can be switched between 3.3V and 1.8V (the voltage of the former "fish type" burner was 3.3V). In fact, the biggest advantage of using 1.8V is that it can also be compatible with 3.3V, and there is no problem (if the voltage is low, of course, there is no problem. If the voltage is high, it may lead to wind Insurance exists)
3.VDD of Bluetooth chip_ Pads network is the internal IO voltage, which can be connected to 3.3V or 1.8V according to the actual situation. When connected to 3.3V, the IO voltage is 3.3V (SPI also belongs to IO port). If connected to 1.8V, the IO voltage is 1.8V.
4.Add a 74 series chip between the burner and the Bluetooth board for voltage conversion. In fact, the original factory's voltage switching is just adding this chip to the burner! So you need to look at the SPI communication voltage, not whether there is a 1.8V power output (the SPI voltage is still 3.3V, but there is a 1.8V power supply pin).
5.The burner has SPI voltage switching function. For 1.8V Bluetooth chip, you only need to suspend the vs port of the burner.
Foot position description
● Miso, CLK, CSB and CLK are SPI burner interfaces, which are connected with SPI interface of CSR Bluetooth chip one by one. The default SPI level is 1.8V!
● 3v3 and 1v8 are reserved power output, which can provide current no more than 500mA (automatic protection will be provided if it is greater than 500mA)!
● When vs is suspended (with internal pull-up), the SPI level is 1.8V, and when vs is grounded, the SPI level is 3.3V!
